Plagiarism Policy

ELEMENTARY : Journal of Primary Education is committed to maintaining the academic integrity and high quality of every published work. Plagiarism is a serious violation of academic ethics and will be dealt with strictly by this journal.

Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else's work, ideas, or words without giving proper credit. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
1. Copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without giving proper credit.
2. Using someone else's work as one's own without permission or acknowledgment.
3. Taking large portions of another's work, even with slight modifications, without proper referencing.

Policy

  1. Plagiarism Detection:

-All manuscripts submitted to ELEMENTARY : Journal of Primary Education will go through a plagiarism detection process using widely recognized plagiarism detection software.
The editorial board reserves the right to double-check manuscripts at any stage of the publication process to ensure the originality of the work.

  1. Zero tolerance:

- ELEMENTARY : Journal of Primary Education applies a zero tolerance policy towards plagiarism. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected outright without consideration for revision.

  1. Sanctions:

-Author(s) found to have plagiarized will be notified of the finding and given the opportunity to provide clarification.
-If plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be permanently rejected from publication in this journal.
-Authors may be prohibited from submitting manuscripts to Asmaraloka: Journal of Indonesian Education, Linguistics, and Literature for a specified period of time or permanently, depending on the severity of the offense.

  1. Problem Resolution:

If any allegations of plagiarism arise after publication, the editorial board will conduct a thorough investigation.
If plagiarism is confirmed, the article may be withdrawn from the journal, and a retraction notice will be published.
Education and Prevention:

ELEMENTARY : Journal of Primary Education is also committed to educating authors and contributors on the importance of academic ethics and how to prevent plagiarism. We encourage authors to check their work with plagiarism detection software before submitting it for publication.
