Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Pematang Baru melalui diversifikasi produk ikan sepat dan pemasaran e-commerce
Abstract
Pematang Baru Village, Banyar Regency, has potential natural resources for sepat fish (Trichogaster pectoralis), which have high nutritional value, but processing of sepat fish in this village is still limited, and marketing of local products through technology is still minimal. This community service program aims to improve the skills of the community, especially fishing groups, in processing sepat fish into fish meal and introduce e-commerce as a means of marketing products. The activity method included location surveys, interviews, and training with fishing partners, and was attended by 70 participants, consisting of a team of lecturers, a team of partners, and a team of students. The result of the activity is that this training activity is divided into two sessions: training on the use of e-commerce for product sales and training on processing sepat fish into fish meal. In the fish meal processing training, participants showed a significant increase in skills, with 98% successfully mastering the technique of making fish meal. In addition, e-commerce training provides participants with an understanding of how to market products via online platforms. This program is expected to increase the economic income of the people of Pematang Baru Village, open up wider market opportunities, and contribute to improving the nutrition of local people through the consumption of more nutritious fish.
