Author guidelines
Manuscripts submitted for publication should conform to the following guidelines:
1. Manuscripts must address specific issues of Islamic Family Law and/or gender issues in both theoretical and empirical studies.
2. Submitted articles should be based on library research or field research.
3. The submitted manuscript is an original work that has never been published in any form.
4. The manuscript is also not in the process of publication in journals/books or other media.
5. The manuscript must present a bibliography consisting of primary sources of books, manuscripts, interviews, or observations and updated secondary sources from books or journals that have been reviewed.
6. The manuscript must contain arguments/theses/findings that contribute to scientific discussion in a field of study that must be clearly stated and presented systematically in the abstract, body, and conclusion.
7. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian and English following the standards of scientific papers.
8. The length of the manuscript is between 6,000 and 10,000 words written according to the As-Sakinah template.
9. Manuscripts should be submitted through the As-Sakinah website or by sending them to the journal's email: sakinah.unzah@gmail.com
10. Manuscripts must be in doc or RTF file format.
11. Endnotes and references must be typed according to the American Psychological Association 7th edition using the Reference Manager Tool either Mendeley or Zotero.
