Plagiarism Policy

BAHTSUNA: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam is committed to maintaining academic integrity and the high quality of every work published. Plagiarism is a serious violation of academic ethics and will be dealt with strictly by this journal.

Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else's work, ideas, or words without proper acknowledgment. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without proper credit.
  • Using someone else's work as one's own without permission or acknowledgment.
  • Taking substantial portions of another's work, even with slight modifications, without proper reference.

Policy:

  1. Plagiarism Detection:

    • All manuscripts submitted to BAHTSUNA: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam will undergo plagiarism detection using widely recognized plagiarism detection software.
    • The editorial board reserves the right to re-check any manuscript at any stage of the publication process to ensure the originality of the work.

  2. Zero Tolerance:

    • BAHTSUNA: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected outright without consideration for revision.

  3. Sanctions:

    • Authors found guilty of plagiarism will be notified of the findings and given an opportunity to provide clarification.
    • If plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be permanently rejected from publication in this journal.
    • Authors may be barred from submitting manuscripts to BAHTSUNA: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam for a specified period or permanently, depending on the severity of the violation.

  4. Acknowledgment and References:

    • Authors are required to provide proper references for all sources used in their manuscripts.
    • Direct quotations must be clearly marked and accompanied by appropriate references.

  5. Resolution of Issues:

    • If allegations of plagiarism are raised post-publication, the editorial board will conduct a thorough investigation.
    • If plagiarism is confirmed, the article may be retracted from the journal, and a retraction notice will be published.

Education and Prevention:

BAHTSUNA: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam is also committed to educating authors and contributors about the importance of academic ethics and how to prevent plagiarism. We encourage authors to check their work with plagiarism detection software before submitting it for publication.
